Goodbye to a friend

I met Geoff & Kate 30 years ago through the local church (they're the two in the middle!!)

Even after my falling out with the vicar and stomping off I still went to a house worship group they organised (usually with my daughter)

Anyway - contact had slipped and I found out through the Christmas card that Geoff died last spring

Today is Kate's funeral

why the cats - well my daughter became obsessed with Kate's collection so we had to have some

So every time I look at them I smile even on a sad day
