The first glimpse!

This was such an exciting moment, my first glimpse of Borneo on the second flight! I think the river looks amazing!

So we landed in Kuching and were met by our guide who took us straight to the ministry house. We settled in and then went to a nearby cafe for lunch. An interesting experience! I had a really weird drink. It was lemon/lime but they added salt which made it taste very strange!
Stayed at the house in the afternoon as we were quite tired and then went to the boulevard for dinner in the evening. We went to pizza hut! Although, I had chips from KFC. We also did a bit of shopping to buy some snacks for the next day's long journey.
