Bus Journey
Backblip 03
We spent 15 hours travelling to the orphanage today from between 7am - 10pm!
The first bus was quite nice, changed buses after the border but had to wait for ages as something on the bus had to be fixed.
Then we broke down a couple of times and got stuck in traffic jams, plus the roads were really bumpy.
When we got out of the bus during a break all the motorbikes and lorries that drove past honked at us and everyone stared! It was quite an experience!
Once we reached the town near the orphanage one of the ministry buses came and picked us up.
We were very tired but very happy when we finally arrived!
This is actually Sam's photo. I will be using some of the other's photos as I didn't always get very good ones. Here we are posing in front of our bus during one of the numerous, seemingly pointless stops during our journey!
