Foggy Fluke

We had a day of rain and fog...but decided to head over to the west side to see if the orcas were visiting. First we went to the Lime Kiln Lighthouse, but the whales had gone through 2 hours earlier, heading south, so we drove out to Cattle Point Park and found they had turned around and were heading back north. I felt like a "storm chaser", ha...we finally caught up with them at the several pull off viewpoints along the west shore of San Juan Island...but the visibility was poor and they were out away from shore. The best photo was of a fluke...which I have never seen before on an orca...so that was exciting.
