The longest journey

8 hours and. 20 minutes from Warrington to Croydon. The only part of the journey where we did more than 30 miles an hour was on the M6 toll and the M40. Everything else, nightmare.

The temperature topped at 32 degrees as we were on the M25 car park by Heathrow. My fuel economy was 62.6mpg when we left home - I am not happy about the loss!

However, twin smiles just before bath time were a welcoming treat.
