I had just attended a talk by the first post 1989 Polish Ambassador to Israel, Mr Jan Dowgiallo, describing his experiences and talking a little about Israel with the generous support of his wife. He described how he found himself in a somewhat unusual job.

These regular summer talks at the Borderland Foundation were the brainchild of Professor Piotr Decowski who started and organised them. Last year he spoke about his favourite flavoured particles (neutrinos) and the universe which started everywhere. It was kind of him to share his knowledge and kindness with us all and we will miss him greatly.
