Garden version

I really hate house spiders, huge black leggy things that race across the floor. But this evening when I was watering I disturbed this common garden spider and it ran out of the foliage on its web with little drops of water on its legs. By the time I had fetched the camera the droplets had gone, but it was still hanging there and worth a blip. Garden spiders aren't nearly as scary as house spiders which is fortunate because there are an awful lot of them about!
