Ben Nevis and Carn Mor Dearg from Aonach Beag

Fabulous day today on Aonach Mor and Aonach Beag in the Nevis Range. Wonderful weather and fabulous views in every direction from the summits.

We opted to use the Nevis Range gondola for the first part but it only goes part of the way up and so it was still a very substantial walk to get first to the top of Aonach Mor and then on to the top of Aonach Beag.

Today's blip shows the view from the spot where we had our late lunch ... has to be one of the most stunning picnic spots ever! Only hill walkers ever see Ben Nevis and Carn Mor Dearg from this angle. So blessed to live in such a lovely part of the world!
