Woke up feeling awful; stress was causing knots in my stomach. I definitely feel the strain of being the only one being there for Dad. But I have to remember that if his daughter was in his life, she wouldn't be much help and I would still be left doing the runny around. Anyway, took Dad to Orsett Hospital for them to have a look up his back passage. Nothing unusual found so now he's being referred for a CT scan. But I must say, Dad is in much better spirits than he has been. At least today he didn't mention dying.

I got home, sat in the garden relaxing and then the headache arrived. It came on so quickly, so tablets were taken. But since then I seem fine. I was actually so tense this morning I couldn't meditate. Good job we're going away for the weekend. Time away with friends and no worries for a few days (I hope).
