Tripod Selfie plus Friend!!!

My dear longtime friend and I at the Soos Creek Botanical Gardens --we met driving bus in late seventies and our families have been friends ever since. Big R and I became the go to people who would watch her kids when she and her husband went on weekend trips. We once took their kids to their first drive in movie--Superman--big thrill only dumbbells that we were--it was raining and we had to watch the movie with the windshield wipers on! The kids have fond memories of it anyhow. I think I need one of those pouches to carry some extra lenses in instead of stuffing my jacket as I did here ha ha!

It rained and was overcast and cool, but the gardens were very enjoyable and I found them more to my liking than the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. They have a few more personal touches...more like everyday gardeners have helped maintain them. I will return many more times!
