at home with an Ivysaurus

Tip toes

Ivy is rather short- and now she's more mobile her height is really starting to work against her. There's lots of things she'd be capable of doing (like pulling herself onto our bed without standing on a box) is she was just a tiny bit taller.

Aren't her new leggings cool? They were super cheap off ebay and go really well over her big bottom. It says 'I like milk' which in Ivy's case is something of an understatement. She like's milk so much she understand the words 'breastfeed', 'nurse' 'boob' 'milk' and 'feed' all mean the same thing. I don't think she's very far off working out what 'm-i-l-k' means either.

Euan is going to paint the skirting boards in the living room tonight, which meant today was spent tidying and rearranging furniture. Ivy created chaos round herself. I left her in her room for a few minutes to go to the bathroom and I came back to find her gleefully sittting behind the door completly surrounded by twenty odd (clean) cloth nappies that she had pulled out AND unstuffed.
