A couple of years ago, Katie and I went to see Disney on Ice. The way to the arena was over a metal bridge. Katie has always remembered that bridge. There is one near nursery very similar. She called it the Princess Bridge the last 2 years. Today, after all this time, we went investigating the other side - a disused railway line that is now a wonderful country walk. In glorious sunshine, we walked about 5 miles. We found climbing trees, blackberries, tunnels, ramps, fields for a picnic, this flight of pretty, overgrown stairs. We had a really wonderful time. Just her and I in the sunshine. We are going to take her bike the next time.

We came home and had a snack & sit down before we headed to the shop for some strawberries. She ate the full punnet on the way home!
