What do all these pipes, wires and fittings do?

This is a follow-on fr0m yesterday. I thought I'd take a shot under the bonnet of the new car while it is still clean and spotless.

Makes you wonder what all these pipes, wires and gadgets actually do! 30 years ago I could cope with servicing my MGB but modern cars seem to be a lot more complex! But then they (almost) drive themselves these days :)
