More Repairs
The workmen finally finished the repairs to the complex made necessary by the earthquake three months ago right before we left for Pátzcuaro. Today, they are back to work on the roof tiles dislodged by the big wind the Sunday before we returned. According to those in town, gale force winds came out of nowhere in the middle of the night and caused some significant damage throughout town. Our complex was mostly spared, except for the edge of "B" Buildings roof, three stories off the ground. A crew of four was at work this afternoon, one to replace tiles, two to steady the ladder, and one to take a nap (at least in this photo, I think he was the official gofer and had just loaded the bucket the repairman is hauling up in the this shot).
