Cornfield at Higher Radway

It's been another hot day today but we did have some rain this afternoon. I'm not sure whether it will have done much for the garden but it was a bit of a novelty and it seemed to freshen things up a little.

I went out soon after and I'd noted some good clouds to the east. I didn't have to go far until I found this cornfield looking good in the late sunshine. I hopped over the gate and it seemed to lead up well to the strong sky. I took a few shots from different positions but it's the first frame I took that made it to my blip, even if the ISO and the aperture are not what I might have chosen if I'd checked first (doh!).

I've been working on my website most of the day. I've had it a few years and it needed updating with some of my more recent pics. You can see it here if you're interested. There's still a bit of work to do but I think I've broken the back of it.
