Rush Pond, Chislehurst, Kent

Wow posting on the correct day!!! That hasn't happened often recently. This is the smaller of our two ponds and it was this pond where over 90% of the ducks and geese were today, I think because it was woodland on 3 sides it must be a tad cooler for he birds than the one in the High Street.

This morning Apache went to the vet for his annual MOT and jabs, we also got his boots trimmed as his nails were getting way too long and sharp and no-way could I do them (he wasn't happy) but now he's padding across the floors in silence tee hee! He was wormed and will get his next de-flea treatment next week, but he's gained MORE weight, how he's on a diet?? 5 weeks ago when he had the bad paw he'd gained weight but since then he's gained another 0.6kg. If only he was a dog then I could take him out for a jog.

The other news is my friend Liz and I have finally finished the genealogical article we have been researching (hence not being on blip much) - the link is here if anyone would like to read it - but I warn you its a long post, but then again with 5 wives (including 2 bigamist marriages) and 9 children it was hardly going to be a few lines.
