The White House

This is one of my favourite views, looking up the John Buchan Way from Morning Hill in Peebles. The views from the white house must be wonderful - they look west and get to see the sun setting over the hills. I sometimes walk to that spot to admire the scenery. From a little further up from here you can see right over to the Pentlands Hills.

A relaxing day. Making bread and picking blackcurrants and red currants in the garden (before the birds get to them!). The gooseberry bush had just two gooseberries on it so they were also picked and will be savoured! Later I went up to woods near to Cademuir and picked raspberries. Together with the fruit collected this morning they have made a summer pudding which now sits in the fridge waiting to be eaten ...but we must wait for tomorrow for that!
