Bees nest

I've got a friend who recommended putting a chimney pillow up some of our chimneys to stop the rain, bits of soot and the odd dead rabbit from falling down, all of which we've had since moving here. I can only assume the dead rabbit was dropped by a bird which was standing on the chimney pot, because how else would a rabbit get up onto the roof?
Anyway, I changed into some old clothes and grabbed a tape measure to measure up for the pillow, but as I stood in the old Charentaise fireplace and pulled the insulation material away, a giant bees nest fell down on me! Luckily the bees had vacated their nest but a bit of a surprise none the less!
