Marathon

After such a busy week I had decided not to go to Glasgow Green for the Marathon but couldn't miss out altogether - just a short walk down Albert Drive to see the 2nd lap of both races. I have never seen a spray to cool the runners before - maybe not needed quite so much today as there was a constant drizzle for much of the race. I hadn't noticed the runner who ran without shoes although someone did mention her & I had the photo - shows that I don't always look when I'm snapping! I can't envisage what it would be like to take part in a marathon let alone in bare feet!
