A circular walk from Hellandbridge

Sunday’s are our day for long walks. Ann’s friend, Angela, said she’d looked on the 'I walk North Cornwall website' and found a nice walk for us to do.

Whoever wrote the description of this walk has obviously never done it in summer??!!

The first path we went along was so overgrown that we had to turn back and trek along some roads. That added at least half an hour onto our walk.

And I found mud. Yay! Ann was NOT happy!

We had no option but to walk through quite a few very overgrown fields. I didn’t mind but Ann is now in pain………………

……………..She has been badly stung by nettles, prickled by thistles, scratched by all sorts of vegetation, bitten by insects, covered in little seeds, she even found them inside her bra – how did that happen? and now just wants to either drink wine to anesthetize the pain or go to bed.

……………………Ann is going to choose the next Sunday walk we go on.

PS – Very scrummy lunch at the 'St Mabyn Inn'. Friendly staff, yummy beef & turkey roast dinner (I know because I got some little titbits) and reasonably priced.
