Canons Ashby.....

I know I know ....If it were up to me Id have called it Nikons Ashby....but hey we cant have it all can we?

As we have not long joined the National Trust we have been thumbing through the book to find things near us and that we can get to in a short time as I work Sundays. This one popped up and its funny you don't realise whats around you!

Delightful house and gardens and was very busy here today as it was another scorcher of a day.

Would have got some of the inside as we asked the lady if we could take pictures....The reply was odd....Yes but no tripods or paraphernalia that goes with photography these days??? Hmm ok so we went in. All ok until we went upstairs and then we were told we had to leave my camera bag at the bottom of the stairs!! No one looking after it just at the bottom of the stairs where anybody could walk off with it!!

HELLO!! I don't think so.

Going back down and past the lady we asked at the start she then said...Have you not been upstairs? Er no cause we were told to leave my camera bag with lots of expensive equipment at the bottom of the stairs!

She gave us a disgusted look and so we walked out!
What is wrong with these people why don't they just say no cameras?

Anyway the gardens were lovely and it was a great afternoon with my Garri.
