St. David's Head

We think cold and rainy weather in Wales must be a myth. Never happens, right? Yesterday we went to White Sands beach near St. David's, and while Wilson went into the water with a wetsuit and a boogie board, Paul and I climbed around St. David's head, spotting then losing Arthur's Quoit. I think the place must be enchanted or something. How can you lose a big rock like that?

We made our pilgrimage to Cardigan, in hope of spotting our dog's native relations, and got as close as a photo of one on a dog grooming poster. Have I mentioned that we've only seen one Corgi on this trip? It was in Tynemouth, at the start of our bike trip.

Later we went to Evensong at St. David's Cathedral, for the singing. I told Wilson it would be a service, not just a concert. Later he was disappointed to learn there'd be religion involved. He thought "service" meant they were doing the community a service by singing for free. Ha. His education is sorely lacking in the pain and suffering of going to church department.
