Solva, Wales

This shows Solva from the Coast Trail--probably the same image you'd get if you googled "solva." It's a good one! When we started out walking toward St. David's this morning, it was actually threatening rain. Cool breezes and mist came and went for an hour, and then it got bright and warm for the rest of the day.

In St. David's we went coasteering, which means putting on wetsuits, climbing down a cliff to get into the water, then getting around by swimming, climbing rocks, and most importantly, jumping in from various heights. Oh, and one dive.

After that we got well deserved ice cream cones, caught the bus back to Solva, had a little rest time, then went to dinner at the Cambrian Inn. It was a perfect July 28.
