Bike Kitchen

The alarm woke me up from an incredibly deep 10 hour sleep, and I definitely had more in me. Luckily we had a relaxed morning planned with my Mum; she came over to hear all about yesterday and we went for a walk along the trail before heading to the Deli for lunch.

We spent the afternoon on a bike maintenance course at the local bike kitchen learning how to mend punctures, adjust brakes and gears, and lots of other basic bike-care tips. It was really useful, and I definitely now feel lots more confident fiddling around with my bike, rather than scared I'm doing more damage!

I didn't think I'd want to go anywhere near my bike today, but I was surprisingly un-achey; just feeling it a bit in my thighs, and the horrible tingles in my hands stubbornly still there. I was glad to flop for the evening though, and spent it watching the F1 and our latest Love Film (another bad blockbuster oops).
