Sweet peas

Mum popped round on my lunch break and brought me a bunch of lovely smelling sweet peas from her friends garden. It was otherwise a fairly non-eventful work day. I've had to ban myself from having the Commonwealth Games on during the day, as it seems I'm not able to block them out as much as I can the radio!

I met my friend Claire and we popped down to the Bike Kitchen to learn how to true a wheel; a problem discovered on both our bikes on the course yesterday, and which didn't take too long to right this evening. It's so great learning these maintenance tips, and feeling like I can now look after and basically service my bike.
