Not a holiday picture
And why, might you ask, when we were supposed to be in Brittany tonight? Well, because our car didn't want to go.
We'd been gone about 45 minutes, were on the autoroute, when suddenly I felt a loss of power - couldn't accelerate, maximum I could go was about 100 km per hour. And a signal was signalling, as it should when it must (am I making any sense here).
I stopped at the nearest service station (luckily one or two kilometres away only) but they couldn't help. The gentleman was helpful, mind you, as he directed us to a place where they might solve the problem. Well, they couldn't and directed us to yet another garage, this time the local branch of our make of car. Problem was, the workshop was about to close, and they would have had to keep the car overnight to take care of it in the morning. As we were not far from home, we decided to head back.
And this is how, instead of a blip of our garden meadow jungle in Brittany, you get a picture from the local (meaning, close to home) public garden... At least it expands my irregular Windows series.
I hope everything gets solved in the morning and we can go!
Tuesday morning edit: I went to the garage at 7:30. They think it's a failing element in the injection system. We'll see. They were sensitive to our "plight" and will be taking care of it this morning.
