Took loads of macro shots in the garden today. Mainly of creepy crawlies, and other beasties, to test a work colleague who's into such things. Surprising number of the local Bumble Bees have some sort of parasites on them. Had to manually focus the lens on this camera. It was no problem in the good light, despite the viewfinder not being the biggest or brightest.
Later cycled into Inverness to check River Ness levels for the canoe and kayak marathon event that's on this weekend. From the Internet, I knew that the level was going to be high. I just wanted to be sure that my usual mid-river spot wasn't flooded, else other plans would be required.
