The Seed

One of my hobbies is collecting flotsom and jetsom along the shoreline and this find was picked up on a beach on Borneo. I don't know the name of tree - all I know is that it grows on the edge of the beach with a bright green ball as a fruit with little flesh.

I bought half a dozen of these seeds back to England because I love their texture and pattern.
