A present
Over the weekend (already forgotten which day) I made my dad a bracelet in his team colours. I believe this is a "quadrafish" style bracelet. I used a fork to make it. My parents came up on a wander tonight so I was able to give it to him. He seemed grateful but asked if it would make him sweat and had asked before if it was magnetic (he wears magnetic stuff to help his arthritis. It works for him! Wasn't so funny when I had braces as a teen and he used to pretend his magnets were being attracted to my teeth. Embarrassing dad.)
Someone commented on my bracelets today with "my eight year old son made me one of those a couple of days ago". I thought about pretending a kid made mines too but didn't need to as we then began talking about how trends like this take off so quickly and what can we learn from those in terms of spreading health messages and changing behaviours. All from some loom bracelets.
Oh. This is my dad's wrist not mine. Just so you know. I never tan like he does.
Tired now. Night :-)
