Back of the net

Another day another sport. This time a visit to the National Hockey Centre on Glasgow Green. What a great facility. Scotland has been far to preoccupied with fitba for far too long, often to the detriment of other sports. Much of this is due to media addiction to one traditionally successful, and one recently deceased team. With facilities like this, other games legacies, & the Warriors taking 10,000 fans at Scotstoun, maybe its time to focus on other sports.

After work LHRH went to Glasgow Green, watching the swimming on the big screen. The hockey provided two very different games. The Indian women beat Trinidad & Tobago 14-0 - bit of a one-sided affair!

The second game saw NZ beat RSA 2-1 in a close game. We also got treated to a lovely sunset.
