Summertime Blues

We're in the midst of another week of beautiful summer weather, and tiring of trying to take photos of birds and bees, I stopped by Marine Park this afternoon after I completed my errands in Fairhaven.

I love being by the water, but not in it -- although I have to admit that this looked very appealing!

I was 11 in the summer of 1958, and must have heard Eddy Cochran's hit single several times, as it instantly came to mind when I downloaded this image.
