El Farolito

Someday I'll capture a better image of this place. It's the best Mexican Food in a town full of great Mexican Food. After our sons grew up and moved away, this is the first place they want to go when they return for a visit. Once, from the parking lot at LAX we called El Farolito and asked them to stay open a little longer and we were on our way. They did, and our sons appreciated getting some comfort food from their home town. The Sandoval family has always owned it and we have done our best to support them...sometimes several times a week. Their son played soccer with ours and that feeling of family and community permeates the business. We rarely dine there without seeing someone we know.

To the right of the picture, you see a bit of the Placentia Water Tower. I'm sure that local landmark will be blipped and journaled soon.

For now, I must return to my Cadillac Margarita.
