Playing in the sand

We rounded off a hot afternoon with an evening walk down to the beach, for ice cream and playing in the sand. It would have been too hot and crowded to do this earlier in the day! A late dinner and bath, but a very sleepy little girl dropped off quickly to the land of nod.
We are hoping to get out for a bike ride tomorrow while Nanny babysits for a few hours- woo hoo!
