Out for a bike ride - Brighstone Forest

My first time out on the bike this year- in fact for quite a while! (Breastfeeding and biking don't mix).
Mum looked after madam for the morning while Mr P and I went for a spin. It was a beautiful day, butterflies everywhere. Saw many red admirals today which was lovely. I managed to keep going on the long climbs (approx 700ft of climbing!) and enjoyed the downhills- might not have been my fastest or most dynamic ride but it was just great to be on my bike. Cleats and gears were fine today but the bite mouthpiece on my water bottle kept leaking so despite the blazing sun I came back soaked!

We had a cuppa in the van, then had a minor drama when we bent the ignition key, then managed to bend key back, in order to start the van and drive home.
