1884 Edinburgh Meat Market
Look Up! There's so much to see.
Today I walked into town and looked up at all the weather vanes, street lights, carved panels and other paraphernalia that adorns our streets and buildings above eye level. There is a surprising amount to see.
There were lots of photos but I like this of one of the bulls head on the old meat market arch in Fountainbridge.
After lunch Judit and I visited the National Galleries Complex for the "Turner in January" and "Paul Sandby: Picturing Britain" Exhibitions. Tuner's Bell Rock Lighthouse wasn't on display which was a bit disappointing, but Sandby's watercolours made up for it!
Thanks to everyone for their comments on my moonshot yesterday :)
