Buddha and Guardian Dog

Went into town today to buy some suet logs for the birds, and while I was in the Hardware Shop that sells them I saw some gold leaf paint which I thought would be ideal for my Buddhi's new hat. Spent the afternoon weeding from around him and cleaning him up for his new outfit. He's been there for about 20 years approx. It was about the time Maggie Thatcher's policies led to a lot of mine closures and out-of-work miners were turning to other ways of earning an income. One of their projects was making garden ornaments and my Buddha is the result of this project. He did have two Guard Dogs - this one as you see hasn't survived the weather all that well. The one that was at the other side has fallen into the pond - I'll have to rescue him some time!

Have been looking for the new Moon which should be at Meridian about now but it's too cloudy at the moment. Hey, maybe tomorrow!
