Casting motes springs to mind ...

During my Doha Days I was bemused to see ice rinks and Venetian Canals in the Qatari Shopping Malls. Today, in my first foray into a local Edinburgh Mall eponymous with Ocean (always a misnomer for a North Sea Estuary facing port!) we stumbled upon this indoor beach! I heard myself muttering a quotation more suited to the lips of Mr Meldrew!
