First attempt

Trying out my new camera today. I intended from the start to take my Blips with my compact Canon PowerShot SD80 IS, but having dropped it and chipped the lens I ended up using my Nikon D50 DSLR or the Canon EOS 550D DSLR which is my 'work' camera. So I bought a bridge camera to split the difference - a Sony CyberShot DSC HX300 and have been monkeying around with it over the last half hour.

Here's my first Sony Blip - Macleaya cordata, a lovely tall perennial whose foliage is the main attraction.
