The Cygnet had a 'douvet day' today........... the pox has won.

Hopefully he will feel better by Sunday - he is booked in fr his gardening club.

I took Squirrel out so that The Cygnet could get some peace.
She assumed her usual nosy position -- when she wasn't demanding "more cakes".

There is a new lens now heading my way. I just hope it arrives before Saturday when I will be going into town with a friend who is coming up from Milton Keynes just to shoot Festival goers.

I made a small platter tonight from a bit of the wood I 'rescued' last night. There is a bit of a split in it (from the rot that caused it to fall) and it may well expand but I have poured a load of glue into it so ..................
