Butterfly Beginner

My first capture of a butterfly! The lighting was not the best on this cloudy day but I am sure I will have more opportunities another time...

I was standing in this field of milkweed where the bees and Monarchs were buzzing and flitting about and every time I thought I had a Monarch it would fly off. I decided to switch to bees but with my average lens the photographs were not that interesting. Once I snapped a bee, and upon standing up, a Monarch flew in front of my face as if to say, "Pick me! Pick me!" or perhaps it was more like, "Catch me if you can!"
