Parade

With the fine weather (record lows for July in DC) I headed out for a short walk to the Lincoln and around the Reflecting Pool at lunchtime. Lots to photograph - a large number of geese on the Pool and plenty of activity at the WWII Memorial. I would liked to have captured a shot of the veterans in wheelchairs photoed with their family and young active soldiers which is quite moving. Make do with this shot of the parade of honor about to start.
