Flathead Cherries!

It's Christmas to me because it's time to pick those wonderful Lambert cherries up by Flathead Lake. Loaded with coolers, ice packs and dog, we flew up the road this morning to the lake and picked up 22 lbs. of succulent cherries...and the occasional wasp, as well. ( no bites due to my cat-like grace...uh huh ;-D ) My bug photo isn't even close to admirer's insect portraits, but I focus on the food part. Now....off the road...time to dig into a bowlful!
