All too much for Arthur

We've had a busy day today. The children went off to nursery at about 9am and Giles and I headed off to Costco (we've got 4 more nursery sessions this holiday and really must use them more imaginatively!)

We picked up A&A at midday to hear that Arthur had had a brilliant morning- no tears and very settled :-)

We then headed in to Cambridge to meet Tom, Roz and Sarah and her girls at Grantchester Orchards. It should have been highly relaxing with cream teas, deck chairs and the lazy afternoon sun. However, Arthur had other ideas!!! He wanted to charge all over the place and not sit AT ALL!!! So it actually turned into a chase the Arthur afternoon which he loved!

Home now and both children struggling to settle despite their tiredness. The holidays have sent their routines a little haywire I think :-(
