Today is my beautiful niece's 14th birthday. We spent this morning making her birthday presents. Katie made her a cute bracelet, drew a lovely picture and helped me make a skirt for her. We were off for her swimming lesson at lunchtime. She was very bouncy to be back there and swam really hard, some fabulous swimming. We had a couple of hours pottering round, waiting for our bus - the most exciting part of the day for Katie. Niece's birthday meal. She was a super happy wee cousin. We had a lovely meal and all spent some great time out in the garden, playing with the puppy. Katie is quite wary of Daisy, but they ended up playing well together. It was a wonderful time.
