Someone special

A very special little boy has come to stay with me today.

A holiday with just us two. My sister went to Christchurch today to pick up her 2 year old granddaughter for a few days holiday with her, so I asked if she could bring Sebastian back with her too. His Mum took me up on it, packaged him up and sent him off.

He came "in Uncle Michael's truck, over the mountains, to Gran's house." I believe he may have mentioned that to Aunty Leigh and Uncle Michael about 23 times on the three hour drive.

Pretty special indeed. So far we have carried in firewood, lit the fire, built the toy car wash that lives at my house, watched cartoons, had a picnic afternoon tea and driven Gran's van. And we've only been here half an hour!
