Bang

Had a really busy day at work with loads of people to see and things to do before I headed off to the airport to get a flight to Birmingham.
I was in plenty of time thankfully and whilst walking to the security gate, all the passengers turned to stare as they had all heard a bang and a roar.

From the far side of the runway, plumes of smoke could be seen from under the wing of an airplane.

It was a great sign to see as the airport fire service drill commenced.
Flames are not a good sight when you are about to entrust your life in someone else's hands!

It's a rubbish blip as I took it with my phone as it was nearer (in my pocket) and the good old camera was in the bag
