Summer goodness

First day of August and the rain arrived bang on cue! But I didn't let a little thing like water put me off my task of the day. The big weed at the allotment. Actually it worked very well, soft rain loosens the soil around the weeds, so I did an amazing job - all the beds, the greenhouse and a big patch at the back near the compost bin, all cleared. Bet I'll be stiff as a board tomorrow! Harvested some more peas and courgettes and had them for lunch, DELICIOUS!
