From Sale Fell looking towards Skiddaw

Been looking at this walk in one of my walk books for some time - so I decided to give it a go today. Definitely a good walk, with some impressive views. Maybe a little high for some, but a pretty easy fell overall.

These trees are known as "flag trees" - this is where the prevailing wind, causing the trunks to thicken up in the direction facing the wind.
