Summer in the Lakes!

The school holidays are well underway now, and as we hit the 1st August we get proper Lake District weather.

I loved the perseverance of these tourists - intent on enjoying their boating experience despite the rain - sheltering under a brolly. The poor guy rowing didn't look like he'd had much experience - he was trying to row facing the direction of travel - so he was trying to make the boat travel stern-first.

Great to watch.

I included the wonderful misty fells in the background, purely because I loved the look of them.
