Feeding the ducks

Hubbie is on a night out tonight so stayed in town after work. Granny and Grandpa took Eden back to Beith with them so it's just Ethan and I here tonight. I promised him we could go and feed the ducks so we walked up to Bellsquarry Woods as it's the closest place I could think of which would have any. However, we could only find 1 and she didn't seem that interested in our bread!

Ethan was rather disappointed so I was racking my brains to think where else we'd find ducks which was walking distance. The best I could come up with was Dedridge Pond but it's a bit of a trek. So I had to alternate piggy-backing Ethan and coaxing him into walking! It was worth it when we got there though with tons of ducks, 2 swans and a heron. He really enjoyed feeding them and wants to go back again tomorrow! As I'm now knackered from piggy-backing him all the way home, I think if we do go tomorrow I'll drive there!!
